VS.PHP 2005 Beta Error
Posted February 10th, 2006 by butlerat
I have installed the beta of VS.PHP 2005 but whenever I try and load a .php in Visual Studio it does not work stating that the package failed to load. Is this happening to anyone else and is there a way to fix this?
I've got VS 2005 Professional.

Re: VS.PHP 2005 Beta Error
Can you provide me with the build number you are using? Also are you still on your trial period?
Re: VS.PHP 2005 Beta Error
I'm running
VS.PHP v2.0.0.2472
Visual Studio 2005 Professional v8.0.50727.42
I have been using v1 of VS.PHP for a while now on VS 2003. Haven't got as far as registering in VS.PHP v2. Will I need to get another license key or will the one I bought for v1 still work?
Re: VS.PHP 2005 Beta Error
2003 and 2005 serials are not compatible with each other sorry.
But if you are using 2003 and get version 2.0 of 2003 there will not be any problem.
Same if you are using 2005, and you get version 2.0 of the 2005 your 2005 serial will still work.
Hope this helps.
Re: VS.PHP 2005 Beta Error
I don't mind buying another copy for 2005. But surely I can still trial 2005?
The first thing that shows up when I try to load a PHP file is a white rectangle on the screen like this:

Then, if I hit the ESC key I get this error on the screen:

Any ideas?
Uninstall the IE 7. Vs.PHP
Uninstall the IE 7. Vs.PHP has problems with this version at the moment.
