Hi,
Having looked around the forums there seems to be many issues with debugging so I thought I would add to the pile.
I'm attampting to debug Joomla 1.5 on my local machine, Windows 7 64x, Vistal Studio 2008. I have no issues with the debugger starting however certain variables are dispalyed in the Locals window as follows:
$data Error parsing $data value Unknown
Then if I hover the cursor over the variable name in the code editor debugging stops with the following message in the Output window:
!! your party has shut down the connection...
Error detect:
==> error code: 10054
==> error message: error calling send():
The virtual circuit was reset by the remote side executing a "hard"
or "abortive" close. For UPD sockets, the remote host was unable to
deliver a previously sent UDP datagram and responded with a
"Port Unreachable" ICMP packet. The application should close
the socket as it is no longer usable.
The program '[5624] vsphp_dbg.exe: PHP' has exited with code 0 (0x0).
The thread 0x388 has exited with code 0 (0x0).
The program '[1600] iexplore.exe: Script program' has exited with code 0 (0x0).
I am using the latest download for Visual Studio 2008.

The first thing to try is to enable xdebug.remote_log on your php.ini file.
Are you using your own web server?

Yes we have own own server and I have enabled xdebug.remote_log. Did you want me to send you the log as it means nothing to me?

This support request has been raised for over 4 weeks now with no resolution or contact from you?
Very poor support really after you have taken the money for the product. Can you either resolve the issues or refund my money as I can't work with a product that simply does not work.
