Komodo Edit 4.4 has a helpful feature where it automatically adds closing braces, parentheses, quotes etc. when the corresponding opening character is typed, but keeps the insertion point at the current position so that you can continue typing without interruption.
It would be really cool if you could add support for this as well.

I suppose I could, but wouldn't it make more sense for you to install Komodo and just type a couple of lines? It's a free download, and I believe that way you'd get a more direct and complete impression than would be possible through a screencast.
