update error

I just downloaded and installed VS.PHP 2.5 and got a message that there were available updates. When I try to download them, I get an error that a "Requested Registry Access Is Not Allowed" error. I opened up the .NET Framework and tried to grant permission to the application to access the registry, but I'm not entirely sure how to go about doing this. I can't add it to my trusted applications list and, when I add the updater as an application and try to configure the assemblies, it doesn't list Jcx.Vs.Php.Updater as one of the assemblies. Is there an easy way around this? If not, can someone walk me through the .NET Configuration solution?
