Vistas Program Compatibility Assistant

I downloaded and installed the demo of VS.PHP.
Every time I start it up Vista says it needs a service pack. I tried to run the service pack for VS on Vista but will not upgrade the VS.PHP because of incompatiblities,. Is there a fix for this? Or should I just ignore the message.

The upgrade patch cannot be installed by the Windows Installer because the program to be upgraded may be missing or the upgrade patch may update a different version of the program. Verify that the program to be upgraded exists on your computer and that you have the correct upgrade patch.And then it quits.
