VS 2005 error

I'm seeing the exact same behavior described by butlerat in this thread:

There is a white rectabgle on the screen when I try to launch a project from the VS Start Page after installing VS.PHP. I hit ESC and see the package error. This is my first time installing the VS.PHP trial for any VS version.

I downloaded the installer from

http://dl.filekicker.com/send/file/175105-PAKM/vsphp.msi

I didn't see a solution posted to butlerat's problem. Any ideas?

    Uninstall IE7
