Jcx.Software releases VS.Php 2.4, lowers the price of Standalone Edition

Miami, FL, December 3, 2007: Jcx.Software today announces the release of VS.Php 2.4 for Visual Studio, a Php integrated development environment (IDE) for Microsoft Visual Studio IDE. VS.Php 2.4 Standalone Edition is now $99.99 per developer down from $149.99. The new low price offers a competitive alternative to developers that do not own Visual Studio 2005 and would like to use this IDE for their Php development.

VS.Php 2.4 adds support for XDebug, the most popular open source debugging engine for Php. With XDebug, VS.Php now supports all the major open source Php debugging modules. Jcx.Software founder J. Rivera explained: "VS.Php 2.4 is a major improvement on debugging support in VS.Php. We extended the support to popular Php debugging engines as well as integrating the new and existing engines better with the IDE. The debugging experience of VS.Php is rich and powerful. VS.Php 2.4 also added the website copy feature. This feature lets you drag and drop files from the server to the client and vice verse. The website copy feature is a great complement to the existing deployment module in VS.Php. Developers can easily keep their local copy of their application in sync with changes made on the remote server. It also provides the ability to deploy only the files you want by using the simple drag and drop interface.

VS.Php 2.4 for Visual Studio 2008 will be released in Q1 2008. Customers buying the VS.Php 2.4 for Visual Studio 2005 qualify for a free upgrade to 2008 once it is released next year.
