Project wide intellisense

After a lot of work, we put together our first build with project wide intellisense. Let me explain how this feature work in more detail.

When you open your project, VS.Php will parse your project on the background. You can do your development while the parsing is happening on the background.

The intellisense box now has two tabs, one for common stuff and one for project wide stuff. The common tab is exactly what you get today with VS.Php. Any files you include, any user references, Php modules you select, any class autoloaders.

It is my favorite IDE, I tried some other ones (dreamweaver, phpedit, ...) but it was far away from Visual Studio.

Once I found VS.Php the deal was sealed the first time I used it. I also use source safe, so I am now operating at 100%. I recommend VS.Php to everyone who programs with PHP.

devenv /resetskippkgs

Then start VS.Php again.

This is a minor update to our 2.5.3 release. The release includes the following fixes:

- Support for VisualSVN
- Fix critical intellisense bug

I recommend anyone using VS.Php 2.5 to upgrade immediately.

This is a maintenance release of VS.Php 2.5.

This version solves a number of issues including:

Dll issues with php5ts.dll. Now VS.Php works if another version of Php is installed.
Fix issue with Snippets weren't working correctly
Added void to the list of return types to the PhpDoc comment generation
When deploying a subset of files, it forces the deploy regardless of the date on the server.
Fix issue with remote projects not working after reopening them.
Fix a number of UI issues in the code.

Php variables inside strings

In Php you can use single quotes and double quotes to enclose strings. But there is a subtle difference between using single quotes and double quotes. When using double quotes, any variable referenced inside the string gets expanded. You don't have to concatenate strings and variables, instead simply put the variables inside the string.

In VS.Php 2.5, we improved the support for variables inside double quoted strings. They are color coded correctly as if they were outside the string. The following illustrates a simple double quoted string referencing a Php variable:
